Welcome to our 5th Paris All Nighter! This year we will have something new and exciting.

We will catch the last rays of the sun reflecting on the shiny buildings of La Defense, then we will be photographing Eiffel Tower from the other side of the river Seine but not before capturing the Statue of Liberty! We will also take pictures of Les Invalides, cross the bridge to La Concorde then hit Champs Elysees and get back to Eiffel Tower for sunrise. Sounds exciting right?

Eurostar ticket cost £60 return from London to Paris

Booking cost: £17.50 includes Metro & RER tickets required during the walk.

Starting Point: Gare du Nord, London arrivals
First Meetup Point: La Defense
Second Meetup Point: Statue of Liberty (Sunset)

Your itinerary and map will be e-mailed/posted to you on the first week of May. This trip requires Metro/RER tickets hence the increase in fee.

Photowalk | Tyburn River Photowalk & Wallace Collection

When: October 1st, 2011

Walk starts: Outside Baker Street station

Walk ends: Pimlico or Vauxhall Station

Sights: Oxford Street, Mayfair, Green park, Buckingham Palace

Time: 10.30AM

Length: 5.5kms

We are following the path of Tyburn River that once flowed from the West End towards the Thames as explained in Secret London book by Andrew Duncan.

An addition to this walk is our stop over at the Wallace Collection (free entry) at Manchester Square.

Photography inside the museum is allowed if you don’t use flash.

We’ll give this stop a couple of hours or so, so we can enjoy without the pressure of being left behind.

After the museum stop, we will continue with our walk and stop somewhere for refreshments.

If you want to join, please do checkout the wallace collection website before the walk so you know what to see first.

Also, please bring water to drink and travel light and comfortably. Maps will be available on the day.

School Portfolio Shoot | June 18, 2011

A one time opportunity to photograph inside an old school with models. This school building is going to be demolished in July, most of the rooms are now empty but it is still obvious that it is a school. Inside have bright coloured tiles on one side of the room, very high ceilings and big windows. Several rooms will be set-up and available to use on rotation but the rest of the school building is available to use as well as the playground.

There will be Models, MUA and stylist available on the day.

I am organising this in part for my portfolio and also to help the school PTA raise funds for equipment for the children.

Location open: 9AM to 5PM

Participation Fee: £35

After booking you will receive an information sheet with the models images and set descriptions. If you wish to bring a model, please feel free to do so, just warn me if you do. Facilities and refreshments are available. Please bring your Paypal payment confirmation on the day so we will let you in.

Paris All Nighter 2011

I want to say a big thank you to all who joined us for this year’s adventure. I hope you’ll be able to join us next year for another night of… well, adventure The general theme for 2012 is architecture.

Alas, this year I will not be able to attend as I will be over the pond shooting. But friends from London Flickr Meetup Group will be there to help out. In a week (at least) I will make the meetup sheets available with the itinerary, maps and times for download. At least, all you guys and gals need to do is show up and have fun shooting

Considering the “improvement” works happening in some parts of London. This will be a revisit of some places with slight modification.

Welcome to our fourth Paris All Night Shoot!

We’ve been to Eiffel Tower, Sacree Coeur for sunset and sunrise, through the Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, La Defense and a bit around Notre Dame!

This year we will start where Bastille Saint Antoine once stood, where the French started the revolution – Bastille. Then we will pass the marina, Ile St Louis to arrive our sunset spot. The way towards our sunrise spot is full of twists and turns so I will leave that for you to discover in our itinerary. But in between, we will have a choice of two restaurants on the way.

This all night walk will accommodate those who wish to photograph people on the street and lit architectures.

Departure from London St Pancras on 28th May at 16:22 to arrive in Paris Gare du Nord at 19:47

Bridal Strobist Meetup

Want to try something new and creative with Bride & Groom models inside a church? This is the meetup for you. Only limited number of places so you have time/chance to direct and photograph one of the models.

Location: South Woodford (Central Line)
When: Saturday, 29, January 2011
Time: from 1PM to 5.30PM
Places : 12 photographers
Where: Before the wedding season takes us away, I thought a creative practice would be nice at a venue where the action is (well mostly anyway)..inside a church. We will be shooting inside and around the church. It has big windows inside and loads of space. We will also have access to the space above it where the models can prepare and even take some pictures as there is a lovely window there too.

Cost: between £20 to £35 per person
Status: 1 space available.

Paris All Night Shoot 2010

Hello and Welcome dear friends! It is again time for another all night prowl in Paris, France This year’s itinerary as promised is already finished, you will need the “guide book” which is printed by blurb and is included in the booking fee – I chose the black & white print so it is affordable. Check out the details below for more details….

When: 29th – 30th of May, 2010

Where: St Pancras International – EUROSTAR Terminal

Outbound time: 16:25 on the 29th from London

Return time: 9.13 on the 30th from Paris

Please note that you may choose to arrive earlier or later and just catch up with us along the way.

Cost: from £50 return trip

Itinerary: This year’s trip includes a stop to the Arc de Triomphe (group rate at 7€ pp), stop Louvre (before it closes), riverside walk and sunrise at Trocadero.

Itinerary map, meeting point and food stops will be available on the guidebook.

3AM Food Stop: We will have PIZZA! on average, it is around €10 + drink.

Bayswater Rd market Photowalk

Here are some of the images I took from the photowalk. It was a while ago but hey, I was so busy – it had to wait.

Anyway, it was such a lovely day and an enjoyable walk, we we through the artists’ displays and manage to talk to some of them then we headed off to the restaurant for a meaty Eat All You Can. Lunch at Rodizio Rico was really good and I know I should not say this but we stuffed ourselves full we had difficulty walking afterwards (sort of). We went to Kensington Gardens afterwards and met up a couple more people who went to the London Open House places.
